Based in San Francisco for almost 10 years, Geraldine Le Meur is a French Entrepreneur. Over the past 20 years, she co-founded the event LeWeb, bringing together more than 3,000 entrepreneurs, brands, geeks, investors and press from 80 countries in Paris. As an Angel Investor she has invested in companies such as LinkedIn, LendingClub and Evernote.
In 2016, she was voted one of the 50 most inspiring women in European tech. She is also a board member of the Sigfox Foundation. In January 2016, Geraldine launched a new company, The Refiners.
Prior to that, she co-founded several successful tech companies. Including Ublog, one of the first blogging services in Europe and served as Marketing Director of Six Apart EMEA from 2003 to 2007, when Ublog was acquired by Six Apart (now Say Media). In 1997, she co-founded and served as CEO for RapidSite France, the first shared Web hosting company. RapidSite France was later sold to France Telecom. In 1995 she co-founded and served as Executive VP of B2L, one of the first Web agencies, which was acquired by BBDO (Omnicom group).
