Cédric Hutchings is co-founder and CEO of Withings, a consumer electronics company that develops smart products to help people around the world to easily manage their health and well-being. The company was founded in 2008 in France, and released the first WiFi smart scale in 2009. Since then, Withings has broadened its range of products to include various fitness and sleep trackers, a wireless blood pressure monitor and a WiFi thermometer, amongst other innovative products. 

Cédric’s passion for innovation and understanding of consumer’s needs has fueled Withings’ rapid growth. Armed with an engineering degree from Ecole Centrale and a Masters from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Cédric first worked as a product manager at Inventel, overseeing the launch of residential wireless gateways. He then joined Thompson as Marketing Director for Domestic Products. Driving the development of Withings’ life-changing products, his vision is to radicalize our relationship with health, empowering people to overcome any fears or barriers associated with it and help them regain control.
