Laurent Schockmel is a highly experienced corporate development, strategy and operations professional dedicated to helping companies dramatically increase enterprise value. With over 30 years experience focused on the global healthcare space, Schockmel has a proven track record for revenue/market share growth, mergers & acquisitions, international development and managing P&L varying from $10M to $200M.

As co-founder and Managing Partner of Purple Vault™, Schockmel works closely with healthcare/life sciences technology, data and service providers to:
·     Drive their strategic planning process or M&A/exit strategy
·     Improve their operational or financial performance
·     Build & execute their international expansion strategy

Prior to founding Purple Vault, Schockmel was corporate head of strategy and innovation at IMS Health, a $3B global information services provider. Before joining IMS, he worked 16 years for Cegedim Group, a global CRM, Data and Healthcare Technology leader in various global or regional executive roles (VP international, Chief Financial Officer or Chief Operations Officer for the Americas, Chief Strategy Officer & President Latin America).
Before joining Cegedim Group, Schockmel spent three years in a leading international consulting firm, Gemini Consulting. He started his career as a veterinary surgeon and spent his early years in the Life Sciences industry, working in Clinical research, Regulatory and Sales & Marketing at both Monsanto and IMS Health. He holds a veterinary medicine doctorate from the Veterinary School of Maisons-Alfort, France and a MBA from ESSEC Business School in Paris.
