An American entrepreneur currently based in Paris, France, Mark Curtis works as a speaker, an advisor to tech startups, and a coach for entrepreneurs both in Europe and the US.

As one of the industry’s first social media marketers, Mark founded the award-winning agency, enter:newmedia. The agency was among the first to create MySpace applications and manage MySpace communities for brands (2005). As CEO of enter: newmedia, Mark helped define the emerging role of the « social media agency » as they guided high profile fashion, retail and entertainment brands such Versace, Lord & Taylor, and VH1 through their initial forays into new social networks such as Facebook and Twitter.

In 2010, the agency launched Branderati, one of the first social media advocacy platforms to the market. Two years later, enter: newmedia was renamed Branderati to reflect its evolution from a social media agency to a dedicated software company. Branderati was acquired by Sprinklr in 2014.

At Sprinklr, Mark lead the integration of the advocacy software and launched these capabilities across the business. He subsequently served as Sprinklr’s executive sponsor for EMEA, S. America, and Japan.

Currently, Mark is increasingly focused on supporting the artificial intelligence community. He is currently advising a number of AI startups as well as directing communications for the NASA Frontiers Development Lab, an applied artificial intelligence accelerator established to tackle knowledge gaps useful to NASA’s exploration goals and humanity.

As both speaker and advisor, Mark addresses areas ranging from influencer marketing and go-to-market strategy to operations scaling and valuation. As a coach, Mark is able draw upon over a decade of entrepreneurial experience to provide support across the wide range of tactical and strategic issues faced by company founders.

Mark is based in Paris and lives with his retired racing greyhound named Garrison.
