Hugo Mercier is the Co-founder and CEO of Rythm, a neurotechnology company that builds products that sit at the intersection of neuroscience and advanced technology to enhance everyday human experiences. Hugo founded Rythm in 2014 while completing his degree in applied mathematics and computer science at the prestigious Ecole Polytechnique in Paris. He also attended University of California – Berkeley, where he focused on the entrepreneurial track. As CEO, Hugo spearheads product, marketing, high-level research / development, and provides direction to other teams within the company. He has grown Rythm to a multidisciplinary team of more than 60 employees in Paris and San Francisco, from sleep doctors, neuroscientists, engineers, machine learning, designers, and experts in advanced computing and electronics, to develop and launch Dreem.
